Madcap Factory is an amusingly eccentric production house that works with (& without) brands to engage* their communities**.

*We design, build, launch, and manage live event series and playful experiences.

**Communities defined as customers, clients, employees, like-minded-people, neighbors, families, geographic proximity, etc.

Inconspicuous Games

Field games played (in secret) in high-traffic landmarks. We’ve brought executive teams from top brands out to covertly play games like Capture-The-Flag and Hide & Seek at Grand Central Station, Oculus, NY Public Library, among other incredible locations. This is spies not soldiers. Often the quietest shine brightest.

Smalls Smores

The all-in-one tiny s’mores kit. A complete date. There is an old acronym, “T.R.A.D.E.” (read post) that outlines the five elements of a perfect date and Smalls Smores does them all. Everything you need to make the perfect bite-sized s’more in one beautiful box. We also make custom boxes for weddings & brands.

Bark & Co

In an effort to create real life experiences that engage their more than half a million BarkBox subscribers, Madcap Factory worked with the team at Bark to conceive of and design games for dogs to play with people. Look out for exciting announcements from Bark! :)

Fort Greene Commins

Daytime workspaces & evening events that bring the neighbors together. We partnered with restaurants to provide hyper-local, daytime workspace for the Fort Greene community. And to facilitate conversation and connection between neighbors, we produce events and programming and partner with people who have something to say or share.

First Time Out Show (ftoshow).png

First Time Out: a variety show

An intimate variety show for first-time performers. More than 250 performers have taken the stage and delighted packed audiences at amazing venues like The National Arts Club, Le Poisson Rouge, Pete’s Candy Shop, and Sisters.
